Fence installation

The guys from Tycos who will act as carpenters on the job came by and started putting the fence together as per my client's design.

By the wend of the day, the final form of the fence was starting to take shape and it's turning out quite nicely.

Fence posts installed

I was able to get a post hole setting company on short notice to come by and install 24 6x6 posts for the fence.  It took him a short 4 hours to get the job done.  We're now ready for the rest of the fence!

Colours: Decision time

We're staying ahead of the curve on decision making, and part of that was a sit down with our architect to go over exterior colour choices (in particular windows).  We have to balance colour and cost decisions while we take into account stone, stucco, roof shingles, prefinished metal (above the bay window), soffits, eaves and doors.  A fairly big decision, and that's why I love John's insight, as he's done so many projects in the area.

Gib-San

We selected Gib-San as our pool provider.  They came in about equal in price to others (Pioneer etc), but Herbert and Cheryl both liked the fact that they were local and seemed to have a lot of experience with construction (as opposed to subcontracting out the construction like other companies do).

Fencing

As we wait on the building permit, we're getting things ready for demolition.  The safety perimeter fence is up and ready to go.
