Truss progress

Truss work continues today... we're working our way to the front, where the rest will be hand cut.

Trusses

After some clean up work and framing the garage door opening this morning, the roof trusses arrived at 10:00am.  Hersh will be using the Zoom Boom machine to lift the trusses up to the roof for installation right away - this really makes a speed difference in the roof work.

2nd Floor partitions

Most of the outside walls (that we can do at this point) are done, so we're working on the partition walls.  The layout is really starting to come together.

Gas line

Enbridge (their subcontractor Link Line) was here early to run the gas line to the meter.  It took about four hours.

First floor done... second floor starting!

Making good progress today - finished the first floor sheeting, got the temporary stairs built and have started putting up the outside walls.

Rainy day

What bizarre weather.  It's supposed to rain up to 10mm today (which I guess could have been 20cm of snow!).  It's going to reach a high of 8 degrees - so the site will be nice an "clean" tomorrow!  The guys actually got a couple or hours of work done today.  Still targeting roof trusses by end of week.
