Carpentry day 3

Day 3 has started.  Today we put up the first floor exterior and some of the interior walls.  Looking good to have the first floor done and second floor started by the end of the week!

Carpentry, Day 2

The guys are pretty close to getting the sheathing started on the first floor.  They're making great progress, despite being down to 2 guys (keeping a third guy - the low end of the totem pole on a carpentry team, is not easy - yesterday's guy lasted one day before he brought up that it was difficult work and he had a heart problem!).

End of day 1

First floor lumber package arrives

And we're ready to get this house up!  The carpenters were onsite at 7am and the lumber arrived shortly thereafter.  Below, they're getting the sil gasket and plate installed.  By the end of the day, we'll see the basement walls up!
