By the end of the day Friday, the 2nd floor was almost complete. The weather looks warm next week, although it's supposed to rain hard on Monday. We should be good to get trusses going at the end of next week.

Half day and done
The guys got half of the 2nd floor trusses done, but the weather is not cooperating - light dusting of snow but very windy, which makes truss work very dangerous. They've packed it in but I expect a full day tomorrow with a sunny forecast.

Carpentry Day 5 - Morning
After steady work on Monday, the guys were a no-show yesterday, which was pretty disappointing given the sunny weather. Moving on! The guys are focused on getting the 2nd floor trusses and sheeting up today. That should allow us to get the exterior walls on the 2nd floor up tomorrow. The long term weather forecast, in terms of temperature, looks good for the next two weeks. Fingers crossed!
Morning day 4
Today is all about getting the first floor partition walls and front of the house completed. We missed work last Thursday/Friday/Saturday because of tons of precipitation, however the temperature is holding pretty warm overall.
