Virgilio and his gang put the last touches on the flat part of the roof. First, a thick layer of rubber membrane, then a thick sheeting of shingle like material. The roof looks great.

Sanitary and Drains
Today is the day where we finally bring in the sanitary line (and 1" water pipe) into the house. Aveiro has the digger digging the line to connect where the city left off and they've offered to hook in the water as well so the plumber doesn't have to wait around all day.

Protecting the windows
I took the extra precaution of wrapping the window frames with tyvek window flashing. Not required by the building code, but it provides a better water barrier that integrates into the exterior cladding and interior vapour barrier.
