The last dormer at the back is almost done and we're putting the last touches on the roof (beveling the flat area, framing the deck for the skylight). Sheeting soon!

Bell curves
Ahhh... Bell curves... I've never been sworn at more from Hersh :-). At the end of the day, he knows he loves the distinctive look (and work) of bell curves, but they are very time consuming!

Front framing continues
The dormers are complete and we're starting to get things ready for the bell curves around the eaves, which is fiddly, time consuming work.

Digging out
The mild weather continues. I spent some time shoveling this morning after a dump yesterday, but this weather is really quite amazing.
Work continues on the front of the house today - getting the dormers set up is really making the true shape of the house come to life.

Front roof
Work has begun on the front roof lines. It will get a little tedious here, as there are many hips and valleys to work out. Looking good though.

Truss work continues today... we're working our way to the front, where the rest will be hand cut.

Trusses
After some clean up work and framing the garage door opening this morning, the roof trusses arrived at 10:00am. Hersh will be using the Zoom Boom machine to lift the trusses up to the roof for installation right away - this really makes a speed difference in the roof work.
